I started my Reiki journey on the second day of the new year in 2016, and qualified as a Reiki Master in the summer of 2017. On Beltane, to be exact, in the heart Glastonbury with over 20 strangers who were to become some of my favourite people.
I don’t know why it has taken me almost two years to start working as a Reiki practitioner, in the same way that I don’t know why it took me over a decade to finally become interested in Reiki after first discovering it in my early 20’s. I believe in creating our own destiny, but I also believe in divine timing, and I am certain that things happen for a reason.
So here I am, having just booked my first room and trying to get all the paperwork and social media stuff sorted. I love the name Enchanted Reiki. I decided upon it because of my love of everything magical and mystical, and the way that I like to prepare my room for clients reflects this. I plan to decorate my therapy room with fairy lights, a nice oil diffuser, crystals and have some soft music or nature sounds playing in the background. My therapy couch is comfortable and clients will have the option to cosy up with a blanket. I also want to have the client touching an earthing mat which allows the body to deposit free radicals and soak up the earth’s beneficial negative ions during the treatment. It’ll be a beautiful experience.
I’ve recently set up a Facebook page, so if you haven’t checked it out please head over and like the page. Thank you for joining me on my journey!
I start in my new venue in April, and you can book your treatments right now via my booking app. Currently, I am only available on Tuesdays between 7am and 2pm, however if you could help spread the word and tell your friends, I will be able to open up more times and days.
